Warriors of Chaos vs Dark Elves
We played 2000 pts, the last couple of games have been at 1000pts, so it felt cool to be able to bring out some more characters: old Rochus Festerhart got company by a sorcerer of Tzeench, and I also brought my Lord- Khar Khordai. Finally I chose a battle standard bearer with a Festering Shroud.
My opponent brought out his feared cold one knights and Black Guard, among much more. His army can deal with most I throw at him, but I put a lot of trust in my warriors...

On the second picture the battle has raged on for a couple of turns. The Cold ones are heading for my unit with marauders on my right flank, also including Rochus Festerhart. He had been able to cast a spell on the knights (cloying quagmire), dragging some of them down by the weight of their armour. In the middle of the field there is a unit of fleeing crossbowmen, running from my horsemen up in right corner.

The cold one knights, led by a dark lord of Naggaroth!

A big melee takes place in the middle of the battlefield. I failed two charges here, my warriors was one of them.

Late in the battle most of my army was either slain or fleeing. Here are my warriors making a last stand against the knights, who rided down Rochus Festerhart's marauders and then came back for more.

My Lord was killed in a challenge, before dealing a single blow! My warriors were cursed by a rust-spell, giving their save -1...

Here is a closer look at the man of the match!
When the dust settled, it was clear that the druchi had won a crushing victory. Again!
I think that things could have been fifferent if I had not failed my charges in the main fight. I have also decided to enlist more warriors. Even if they didn't perform very well this day, they are still dead hard!
Maybe next time, elves! ...but until then- Congratulations and thanx for a thrilling game!
